Through outreach programs and the Bookmobile, York County Library provides books, materials, and library services to dozens of locations throughout the county, including daycares, after-school groups, and homebound residents.
Book Club Kits are available to be checked out and used by book clubs and other groups for a book discussion. Kits contain 10 copies of the book and a discussion guide with questions and an author biography.
As of October 1, 2020, patrons can call the Library’s Dial-A-Story phone line at 803-620-8585. You'll hear stories for adults, teens, and children, as well as music and songs, poetry, jokes and riddles, history tidbits, trivia, and more! You can also listen and download online at our Dial-A-Story Page.
