Park Passes
What are Park Passes?
South Carolina State Park Passports are available for checkout at all YCL locations. These passes provide free, unlimited park entry to all SC State Parks for everyone in your vehicle, and include free admission to:

-
Select historic home tours at Redcliffe, Rose Hill, and Hampton plantations.

-
The historic lighthouse at Hunting Island State Park

-
The iconic Atalaya Castle at Huntington Beach State Park
Please note: Passes for Ebenezer Park and Allison Creek Park are no longer available through the library. These parks (including the new Catawba Bend Preserve) now use a free driver’s license entry system for York County residents.
How do I check out a pass?
To borrow a pass, simply search our online catalog for "South Carolina State Parks Passes."

What are the rules for checking out a pass?
-
Passes can be checked out for one week on a first-come, first-served basis, with one renewal. No holds are allowed. Please return passes to the same library where they were checked out.

-
Each pass has a mirror hanger and a detachable bottom for vehicles without rearview mirrors, such as motorcycles or bicycles. Both parts are valid for park entry. If separated, please return both parts in the provided envelope. A $99.00 replacement fee applies to lost passes or missing pieces.

-
Passes are subject to expiration and late fees of $0.20 per day, up to a maximum of $5.00.
