With a Main Library in Rock Hill, four branches, an online digital branch, and an outreach program, York County Library is a dedicated resource for education, recreation, and exploration for the residents and communities of York County.
As we continue to reconnect and recommit ourselves to meeting the needs of all library patrons, we have embraced the idea of "YCL" as a hub for learning, resources, materials, unique experiences, and most importantly, community.

York County Library by the Numbers
York County Library saw a 41.8% increase in overall circulation and a 135.2% increase in printing during Fiscal Year 2026! Even with the Main Library closed for six months of renovations, patrons throughout the county continued to rely on our collections, digital resources, technology, and programs.
