Computer & Internet Access

Public computers with Internet access, Microsoft Office, and other software for adults and children are available at all York County Library locations. Some computers may limit time, Internet access, or use, such as for reference, word processing, or genealogy only. All locations also offer free Wi-Fi access.

Usage Guidelines: Use of Library computers requires agreeing to our policies for Library Cards and Computer and Internet Use.

  • A valid York County Library card is required. Minors under 18 must also have signed permission from a parent or guardian (for Internet access, children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times).

  • Patrons sharing a computer must have staff permission and agree to the computer policy.

  • To request an available computer, sign in with library staff.

  • Computers are available on a first come, first-served basis. Use is limited to 60-minute sessions during business hours, unless otherwise specified. Sessions can be renewed if a computer is available.

For full usage guidelines, review the complete Computer and Internet Use Policy.
