After several months of electrical upgrades and improvements, the Main Library in Rock Hill has reopened! We’re excited to welcome you into a brighter, more comfortable space.

🎉 Grand Reopening Celebration
Thank you to everyone who joined us on May 2 for our Grand Reopening! It was a day full of fun activities and community spirit. We also congratulate our lucky raffle prize winners and send special thanks to our community partners:

Keystone York County and Pathways Community Center for sharing valuable resources
Carolyn Simpson’s Creations for the festive balloon arrangements
Whit’s Frozen Custard for the delicious hot dogs, scoops, and treats

ℹ️ About the Glow-Up

The Main Library reopened to the public on April 13 following several months of essential upgrades to improve lighting, energy efficiency, and technology throughout the building. These improvements, completed with the help of Edison Foard Construction of Charlotte, NC, and funding by York County, support better service and a more comfortable environment for everyone.
