Local Historian Stephen Turner to Speak at Friends Annual Meeting
Important Notice: Due to inclement weather, the Friends of the York County Library Annual Meeting has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 22, at 2 p.m., at the Pope John Center at the Rock Hill Oratory. Stephen Turner, a Rock Hill native and the City's former head of Economic Development, will return as the featured speaker.
Stephen will discuss his new book, A Different History: African Americans at the White Homestead, Rock Hill, SC, 1838–1870. Copies of his books will be available for purchase. The Friends will also present awards recognizing extraordinary dedication to their organization and to the library.

We encourage you to visit the IRS website to view, download, print, or order federal tax products. Free Online: Live SAT Workshops from Brainfuse
Prepare for the SAT with a free live workshop series from Brainfuse, perfect for high school students and families planning ahead for college. Author and SAT expert Brian Stewart leads these one-hour Zoom sessions, designed to help students understand the test, build confidence, and learn key strategies for SAT reading, writing, and math.
The series begins January 7. Registration is required, and space is limited. All sessions will be recorded and available later through Brainfuse. Check the schedule for full details.
