Databases are collections of information that are accurate and current and make excellent, reliable resources. For example, databases can be indexes of articles from magazines, newspapers, and books. York County Library subscribes to databases as a public service.


Brainfuse is an online tutoring service which offers help from real, live tutors. Brainfuse can be accessed via your computer at home or from the Library’s in-house computers – at absolutely no charge to York County Library cardholders. Live tutors are available daily from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. EST.
