Friends of the Library to Hold Book Sale
Support York County Libraries by shopping at the Friends of the Library book sale, to be held January 25-27 at the former People’s Bank building, 133 E. Main Street, Rock Hill. Thousands of books will be for sale at $1.00 per inch, measuring the height of the book stack. Videos, audio books and surplus library equipment will also be available at bargain prices.
Preview Night is Thursday, January 25 from 5-8 p.m for Friends members only. Memberships will be sold at the door at $10 for individuals and $25 for families. Memberships are valid for one year and include early admission to five sales.
The sale will be open to the public Friday, January 26 from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 27 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. On Saturday, shoppers may choose as many books as they want for a donation of any amount. There will be no Sunday hours at this sale.
