York Public Library Manager to Retire
Sudy Dressler, York Public Library manager, will end her nearly 21-year career with the York County Library system when she retires on August 31. Dressler worked closely with library administrators through out the process of renovating the former York post office into the new York Public Library. The renovated building opened in October, 2005.
Elizabeth Ellis, former Reference department manager at the York County Main Library, has been named the new branch manager of the York Public Library. Ellis has been with the York County Library since 1985 and is a resident of Gastonia, NC. She began the new position on August 21.
