New Manager Named at Fort Mill Public Library
Karen Manera has been named new branch manager at the Fort Mill Public Library. Since 1999, she has served as Information Specialist at the Morrison Regional Library in Charlotte.
Manera is no stranger to York County; she was employed by the York County Library system for seven years during the 1990’s, including a stint at the Fort Mill library. She holds a Master’s degree from the College of Library and Information Science at the University of South Carolina.
She replaces Mary Windell, who recently retired after more than 20 years with the York County Library system. Manera’s first day on the job will be March 13.
