“Make Waves at Your Library” Teen Summer Reading Club

The Teen Summer Reading Club is open to rising 6th - 12th graders, with fun activities planned with your interests in mind, lots of good books and great prizes. Sign up at any York County Library location or on the Bookmobile.
Keep track of hours read on the library-provided reading log and earn a prize when you reach 15 hours. You’ll be entered into drawings for additional prizes, including gift certificates from Best Buy, Bob Evans Restaurant, GameStop, Woody’s Music and more. Enter again for every 15 hours you read. Be sure to check out all of the free programs for teens - gaming, geocaching, crafts and lots more!

"Make a Splash: READ!" Vacation Reading Program

Children ages 3-12 may register for the Make a Splash: READ! program at any York County Library or on the Bookmobile, starting June 7.
Keep track of the minutes you read (or were read to) on the library-provided reading log. Read a total of 16 hours by July 30 to receive:
Reading medal, bookmark & reading certificate
Net backpack & mini water game
Free coupons from local food merchants (while supplies last)
Child’s name listed in The Herald at the end of the program.
Chance to enter a drawing for a $25 family reading gift certificate

"Water your mind: READ!" for Adults

Adults ages 18 years and older can join in the reading fun this summer by doing what you already love - reading! Pick up an entry form at any York County Library location and complete the form with the titles of three books you have read between June 7 and July 30 and drop it off at your nearest library branch.
You'll be entered to win some great prizes from area businesses. One chance is awarded per completed entry form, while supplies last.
