Children's Vacation Reading Program • June 4–July 27
Make reading a part of summer! Visit York County Library for exciting free programs and lots of fun with books.

How the Program Works
Children ages 3–12 may participate at any York County Library branch or on the Bookmobile, starting June 4. Pick up a reading record and color a star for every 12 minutes you read or listen to an audiobook. Record 10 hours to complete your record. Turn the record in by July 27 to receive:
- A reading medal, bookmark, and reading certificate
- A glow stick
- Free coupons from local food merchants, while supplies last
- A chance to win a $25 Books-A-Million family reading gift certificate, plus a Dream Big – Read! water bottle and tote bag, Chick-fil-A gift basket, and additional free coupons
Enter again and again for additional prizes!
Kids Calendar and Events
Visit the library often, and attend FREE weekly programs in June and July. Seating is limited, so come early! For a complete list of all summer events, pick up a Kids Calendar at any York County Library location or see the Events Page.
