Summer Reading Programs End July 31

With a superhero theme for 2015, York County Libraries offers four distinct summer reading programs:

2015 Summer Reading Programs Summer Reading
  • Tiny Tots Early Literacy, for newborns and toddlers under age 3
  • Every Hero Has a Story, for children ages 3-11
  • Unmask! for teens ages 12-17
  • Escape the Ordinary, for adults

Each reading program features special prizes and incentives for those who complete reading requirements, along with free programs for children, teens, and families. All summer reading programs are sponsored by the Friends of the York County Library. For more details and to register or log in, visit:

Rock Hill Early Closing

The York County Library in Rock Hill will close 2 hours early at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, August 4, for building maintenance. Normal business hours will resume on Wednesday at 9 a.m.
