York County Library Celebrates

Black History Month

York County Library is celebrating Black History Month! Test your knowledge with our Black History Trivia Contest! Pick up trivia questions at any York County Library and return the completed form by 6 p.m. on Feb. 28. The winner will be notified the week of March 5 via phone or e-mail and will receive a $25 gift card to Texas Roadhouse!

And on Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. at the Main Library in Rock Hill, enjoy a showing of Race, featuring an important figure in Black History — Jesse Owens. No registration is required, but those under age 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Light refreshments will be served. See the Events Calendar for full details.

Tax Help

For this filing season, York County Libraries will provide only Federal Forms and Instructions 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ, in limited supplies. Copies of instructions and forms are available through IRS.gov to view, download, and order to be delivered by mail, or by calling 1-800-829-3676.

No S.C. State forms or instructions will be available through libraries, but may be obtained at the Rock Hill Taxpayer Service Center or by calling 1-800-768-3676 to request them by mail. Library staff cannot answer tax-related questions, other than availability of forms. For information on free tax help, see our Tax Help Flyer.
