
The Friends of the York County Library holds four book sales each year. Hardback and paperback books for adults and children are sold at $1 per inch. Audio-visual materials and surplus library equipment are also available at bargain prices. Call (803) 981-5837 for more information.
Each book sale begins with a "members only" preview night sale for Friends of the Library members. Friends of the Library memberships are also sold during preview night. All proceeds benefit library programs.

Winter: January 24-26
Spring: May 8-10
Summer: July 24-26
Fall: October 16-18
New Location: Pope John Center at the Oratory, 434 Charlotte Ave., Rock Hill, SC. Turn onto Hawthorne Lane from Charlotte Ave., then onto Orchard Lane, to enter rear parking area.
Friends Preview Night: Thursday, 5-8 p.m. (for Friends members only; memberships available at the door)

Saturday, 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.

On-Going Book Sales
Donated books are also sold year-round at the Main Library in Rock Hill, the York Public Library, the Fort Mill Public Library, and the Clover Public Library. Books are in excellent, "gently used" condition, with most priced in the $4-5 range. This includes titles for adults and children, including autographed and large print copies, videos, and audio books.
