York County Library Book Club Kits
What are Book Club Kits?
Finding books for your next book club meeting just got a lot easier! Check out a Book Club Kit from the York County Library, and you’re on your way to a great meeting. Book Club Kits contain 10 copies of the book and a discussion guide with questions and an author biography. With over a 100 titles in circulation, you’re sure to find some great reads.
How can I search for a kit?
To find these kits online, just enter “book club kit” in the “Search the Catalog” box. To check availability, call the York County Library Reference Department at 803-981-5825. Be prepared to give the staff member your library card number and indicate your preferred pick-up location. You will be notified when the kit is ready for pick-up.
How do I check out a kit?
The kits are housed at the Main Library in Rock Hill. If you’re at the Main Library and see that a kit you’re interested in has a “checked in” status, a staff member will be happy to retrieve it for you. Kits check out for eight weeks with no renewals. Before returning the kit, be sure to check the box for all 10 books and one discussion guide folder. The person who checks the kit out will be responsible for any damaged or missing items.
